We also welcome expressions of interest from individuals with expertise in other areas that would strengthen Do Rogha's governance and development, including fundraising, technology, communications, risk management, organisational development or other relevant professional experience.
About the Role
As a member of the Board of Trustees, you'll help provide the governance, oversight and strategic guidance needed to ensure Do Rogha achieves its charitable objectives while meeting its legal, regulatory and governance responsibilities.
During the charity's registration and its first year of operation, the Board will work closely with the Founder to establish strong governance arrangements, effective financial oversight and a clear strategic direction that will support the organisation's long-term success.
Responsibility for the day-to-day running of Do Rogha (including operations, programme delivery and partnerships) will remain with the Founder. The Board's primary role is to provide independent oversight, accountability and strategic guidance rather than manage the charity's daily activities.

Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a Board.
Can commit the time needed to support the charity through registration and its first year.
Previous trustee experience is welcomed but not essential. Above all, we're looking for people who are passionate about helping build a charity that creates lasting social impact across Ireland.
Time Commitment
During the charity's registration and first year, trustees should expect monthly meetings, with occasional additional input as needed.
Once Do Rogha is established, the Board is expected to meet quarterly.
Trustees are appointed for an initial three-year term, with the option to renew.
