The best way to build Do Rogha is alongside the organisations who'll use it.

Why We’re Consulting Organisations

The organisations supporting people every day are the experts in the challenges their communities face. Rather than making assumptions, we believe the platform should be shaped by the people who will use it.

Through meetings, needs assessments and ongoing conversations, we're learning about the practical barriers organisations encounter, the items most frequently needed, and the concerns they have about using a service like Do Rogha.

Their feedback is directly influencing how the platform is being designed, helping ensure it is both useful and practical from day one.

The Pilot

We’re aiming to launch a small pilot with a number of partner organisations who have helped shape the platform from the beginning.

The pilot will allow us to test every stage of the process, including:

  • How organisations submit requests.

  • How requests are verified.

  • How donors choose what to fund.

  • How items are purchased and delivered.

  • How we report back to donors with transparency and accountability.

The lessons we learn will help us improve Do Rogha before opening it to more organisations and donors.

Current stage

Do Rogha has moved beyond the initial concept stage and into active development. We're consulting with frontline organisations, gathering feedback through needs assessments and one-to-one conversations, and speaking with organisations interested in helping shape the pilot.

Alongside this work, we're developing the operational model, refining our verification processes, researching suppliers, and building the practical foundations needed for a responsible launch. We're also preparing the governance, policies and documentation that will support our future application for charitable status in Ireland.

Every step is helping shape a platform designed with, rather than simply for, the organisations it aims to support, ensuring Do Rogha is built around real needs, transparency and trust.

Looking Ahead

Our immediate focus is completing the development work needed to launch the pilot. This includes continuing to work with frontline organisations, progressing our charity registration, and finalising the systems and partnerships that will underpin the platform.

Once these foundations are in place, we'll begin fundraising to support the pilot and test the model with our partner organisations. The lessons we learn during this phase will help us refine Do Rogha before expanding the platform and making it available to more organisations and donors across Ireland.
